I just wanted to say that the wall insulation I got installed did everything you said it was going to do, and I am glad I got it done.
I have actually rented out my house now and ended up having a bit of a debate over heating requirements under healthy homes (and whether the existing heating complied) and the factor that dramatically influenced this was the wall insulation. The report was initially written assuming I hadn't insulated the walls, and my heating was said to be inadequate. I had also just had a new heat pump installed, and I'd asked for it to be healthy homes compliant so I was very perplexed as to what was going on. I ended up doing the heating capacity requirements myself and realized that the wall insulation hadn't been added into the calculations, and that when it was added, my heating was compliant. The double glazing of the windows (or not) did not change anything compared to the walls. So wall insulation is cheaper and does better to keep you warm!
I do note that the acoustics changed also. The wind and any noises from that was reduced significantly enough for it to be immediately noticeable.
I just wanted to say thanks as I am very pleased with the outcome of the insulation.
Kind regards,
